Art is what heals. I was Born and raised in Guadalupe, Arizona. My work expresses my culture and who I am as a Artist. The art I create combines vibrant colors and images that express my indigenous Native Nahua, Yoeme Yaqui/ Apache Heritage. I specialize in capturing southwest Sonoran Desert/Valley of the Sun at its purity. My purpose is to wake up the sleeping giant and give our people the strength they have lost through through generations of oppression, genocide, and the slow loss of sacred culture by inspiring them to find and follow their own individual paths
My art focuses on one thing only and that is bringing awareness to my people, the mighty people of the Yoeme and other native nations. I make vivid sunsets in a southwestern landscape and hummingbirds to represent the souls of our ancestors(surem). Monarch butterflies to represent the old souls of our fallen warriors, and the Galaxy to remind our people where we come from. I use wood panels to create my own canvases and on them i use spray paint and acrylic to bring my visions to life. Recently been working on neon tube bending and wood sculpting as another medium for my art. As a developing artists I currently have works at numerous galleries. I also sell Apparel with my original designs thereby developing my Brand to accompany my art.
